Campaign Story

My name is Sachiko and 2 months ago (February 2024), I had a miscarriage. For years, I thought that I couldn’t get pregnant so I went through 3 cycles of IUI in 2021. The 3 cycles that I went through both results in a failed IUI cycle. When this happened I felt like I would never get pregnant. December 2023, I found out that I was pregnant. This was the best news that I have ever had, I knew that I had to be very cautious due to having type 2 diabetes. February 13th, 2024 I went for my 11 week appointment and that’s when I found out there wasn’t a heartbeat. I’ve never experience so much hurt and heartbreak until this moment. I knew since I was a kid that I always wanted to be a mom. I’m currently a kindergarten teacher and the love that I give my classroom kiddos, I want to give to my own child.
